RODE TRIP starts with Henry and Astrid Freedman's emigration to Australia from Sweden to open a sound system installation and audio equipment retail store in 1967. Their son Peter Freedman took over the business at age 17 in 1975, due to his father's failing health.

Skip forward and today, RODE is an impeccable brand with over 150 products, delivering pristine audio in every application for a microphone: studio, live performance, filmmaking, reporting and presenting. It is a rare example of an Australian company making world-class electronics and exporting it to the world.
